Your Ohana is our Ohana
Kauai has a way of slowing everything down in the best possible way. Whether you’re here for beaches, hikes, food, or quiet mornings, the North Shore makes it easy to settle in and feel present.
Come see why so many visitors leave Kauai saying:
“I left part of my soul on Kauai.”

Aloha and e komo mai to Nihilani Hale Ohana. Explore why Princeville is the perfect North Shore getaway. Our 2bd/2ba condo feels like home, with the comfort and amenities that make vacation easy from the moment you arrive. Browse the space, the resort, and our favorite local spots. Settle in, slow down, and enjoy Kauai

Nihilani Hale Ohana is a spacious North Shore home base designed for real vacation living, not just a place to sleep. With two bedrooms (King and Queen), two bathrooms, and a queen size sofa bed, it comfortably sleeps up to six. You’ll also have central A/C, in unit laundry, and garage parking for one vehicle with easy direct access for unloading and coming and going.
This is the kind of condo that makes your trip feel simpler. An open living area for hanging out, a fully stocked kitchen for breakfasts (or snacks between adventures), laundry in the unit, and smart TVs in every room for easy wind down time. Add the lanai for morning coffee and evening lounging, and it’s easy to see why guests settle in fast. Board games are also available for family nights in.
Perched in Princeville on Kauai’s iconic North Shore, this location puts you close to the beaches, mountains, and small towns that make the island unforgettable. Spend your days exploring Hanalei and Kilauea, chasing waterfalls, or simply keeping it simple with sunsets, slow mornings, and fresh air evenings back at the condo. It’s the kind of spot that makes “just one more day” feel inevitable.
One of the best “hidden perks” is how much is already here. Guests have beach chairs, snorkel gear, a cooler, a beach wagon, boogie boards, and even surfboards. Traveling with little ones? There’s baby gear like a pack ’n play and high chair, plus scooters for the keiki and bikes for cruising. It’s all set up to save you time, money, and luggage space.
Nihilani is a beautifully maintained Princeville community with a tropical pool, spa, and a community BBQ area that makes afternoons and dinners easy. The condo is close to the amenity area for convenience, while still positioned so your lanai time feels calm and private. It’s perfect for a quick dip after the beach or a simple grill night without leaving the resort.
North Shore dining is all about variety, from casual nights to memorable meals with a view. Grab pizza from Wiki Pizza, catch live music and drinks at Happy Talk Lounge, or head into Hanalei for classics like Tahiti Nui and The Dolphin. For an elevated night out, 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay is home to standout dining like 1 Kitchen and Welina Terrace.
Some of Kauai’s most legendary experiences are within easy reach. Hike the world famous Kalalau Trail (day use access requires reservations at www.gohaena.com), spend a day at Hanalei Bay, or book a Nā Pali Coast boat ride for next level views from the water. For a quick, unforgettable stop, the Kilauea Lighthouse and refuge area are a can’t miss classic (reservations required).
Kauai is perfect for exploring without feeling rushed. From Princeville, you can reach Kapaa in about 35 minutes, Lihue in about 50 minutes, Poipu in about 1 hr 15 minutes, Waimea in about 1 hr 45 min, and Kokee State Park in about 2 hr 10 minutes. That makes it easy to plan one big adventure day and still be back “home” for a relaxing evening.
Arrival is simple with garage parking for one vehicle and easy unloading, no hunting for a spot or hauling bags across a big lot. Once you’re in, the space is laid out for comfort and flow, so you can shift quickly from travel mode to vacation mode.
When you book direct, you’re booking straight with the owner, not a property management company. It’s a more personal experience from the first message to checkout, and it’s often the best value for guests. Use the Contact Me section to inquire about availability, ask questions, and book directly.

Kauai is a tropical environment, with that comes some bugs, and some not so pleasant ones. Nihilani Hale Ohana has quarterly pest control inside and out, in addition to the Nihilani Resort Pest control measures. Taking out the trash daily helps keep the condo fresh and reduces the chance of pests inside.
Rain is common on Kauai, as Kauai is one of the wettest places in the world with an average of 450" of rain at the top of Mt Waialeale. Winter months have heavier periods of rain, while summer will have rain showers that last a few moments and move through. North Shore is the wettest side of the island, but also the greenest. On days of rain on North shore, you can drive south and west to possibly find sunny skies.
Pets are not allowed
